HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) — Harding women’s golf sits ninth after two rounds at the Battle for the Belt tournament, hosted by Henderson State at Hot Springs Country Club.
The Bisons carded a 313 in the first round and improved with a 302 in the second, totaling 615 strokes.
Sydney Kincade leads Harding, tied for 18th individually with a 151 (76-75). Sarah Kmiecik is tied for 22nd at 152 (77-75), while Pilar Martinez is tied for 26th at 154 (78-76). Cooper Meyer (159) and Madeleine Wilson (162) round out the Harding scorers.
Henderson State leads the 12-team field with a 590 total, fueled by co-second-place golfers Lily Nelson (143) and Felisa Sajulga (143). Christian Brothers’ Cesilee Mokry holds the individual lead at 142 (69-73).
Southern Arkansas is second at 597, with Aubrey Marx tied for sixth at 147 (76-71).
The final round is set for Tuesday morning, with tee times beginning at 9:00 a.m.
