Grand Valley State and Ferris State are set to go to battle at Lubbers Stadium in one of the best college football games of the year, the 2024 Anchor Bone Classic.
This storied rivalry, dating back to 1971, showcases two long-time powerhousses of NCAA Division 2 football.
Both teams enter this matchup with strong momentum: GVSU remains undefeated at 7-0, while Ferris State boasts a 6-1 record, having won six straight games.
The winner not only claims bragging rights but also secures a significant advantage in the GLIAC standings and is likely to earn the No. 1 overall spot in the Top 25. Currently, GVSU occupies that place and Ferris State is No. 3.
Last year’s meeting saw GVSU come out on top, but Ferris State is eager for redemption.
