Great Plains Health Care Foundation hosts record-breaking 4th annual golf tournament
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – The Great Plains Health Care Foundation held its 4th annual golf tournament on Friday, drawing strong community support for the charitable cause. A total of 84 golfers participated, marking the highest turnout in the event’s history.
The tournament featured a chipping contest and a silent auction, with all proceeds dedicated to helping patients at Great Plains Health. This tournament is one of two major fundraisers the organization hosts each year to provide various forms of assistance to patients.
“So right now were working on helping patients have a better experience, whether that be providing blanket warmers for patients or vein finders to help put in IVs easier, clear up to major equipment in a pet scan, things like that,” said Great Plains Development Officer Megan McGown.
The generous contributions underscored the community’s commitment to supporting the foundation’s vital work.
