viewers are used to waking up and being greeted by Jamie Erdahl‘s friendly face to talk some football.
However, Erdahl was absent from the broadcast on Wednesday, October 2, and Sara Walsh stepped in as the lead host for the NFL Network show.
Erdahl was missing because she was en route to London to prepare to cover the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings’ encounter.
Michael Robinson joined Walsh in GMFB‘s Los Angeles studio, who continues subbing for Akbar Gbajabiamila, who has been out filming the new season of American Ninja Warrior. Kyle Brandt and Ian Rapoport were live from the NY studio.
The 2024 International Games continue on Sunday, October 6, when the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings face each other at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. NFL Network will air the game starting at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Erdahl will report from the sidelines alongside Stacey Dales, Rich Eisen will be the play-by-play announcer, and Kurt Warner will provide an analysis of the game.
Pre-game coverage on the NFL Network begins at 7 a.m. ET with NFL GameDay Kickoff hosted by Colleen Wolfe, Gerald McCoy, Daniel Jeremiah and GMFB’s Kyle Brandt.
Brandt will also have a one-on-one interview with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Jets-Vikings is the first of three consecutive games in London, which continue with the Jacksonville Jaguars versus the Chicago Bears on Oct. 13 at 9:30 a.m. ET and the New England Patriots versus the Jaguars on Oct. 20 at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The 2024 International Games conclude with the New York Giants versus the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. ET from Munich, Germany.
