Vestiaire Collective is a go-to destination for fashion lovers who have their eye on a vintage piece they’ve been wanting or a popular bag they prefer to buy secondhand. It’s a global platform that has recently been expanding into the U.S. For its 15th birthday, it’s running a $15 sale on 250 iconic pieces in its warehouse. Of course, taxes and fees apply on some pieces, but for the most part, you can purchase iconic Hermès scarves, Bottega bags, vintage RTW, and more for $15.
It’s the brand’s 15th anniversary. Vestiaire’s U.S. CEO Samina Virk tells the Cut the sale is to “celebrate this milestone.” For 15 years, the platform has been offering authenticated luxury items, and what better way to both celebrate its current community of fashion lovers and invite a new community in who may have never shopped with the brand than to offer a sale that seems almost too good to be true? “We want to give our community a treat and highlight the excellent curation of products that we’ve been known for all these years. For this special sale, we have a selection of items that are pre-authenticated and ready to ship from our warehouses across the world, including Brooklyn. While our $15 and under sale won’t last long, the rest of our catalogue is filled with other exciting and affordable finds,” Virk says.
It 100 percent sounds like it, but it’s not. As someone who spent time in Vestiaire’s warehouse for an authentication workshop earlier this year, I’ve seen firsthand its commitment to having experts as a part of its team to ensure only authenticated items are making it through the warehouse and to a new home. During the workshop, we examined everything from Birkin bags to Dior saddles. I never knew how good a fake could actually be until the experts pointed out the most minuscule things, like stitching on the inside of a bag.

Shop the $15 items on vestiairecollective.com now. There’s even a special Cut Edit of the products we love most. If the items you wanted sold out quickly (which, for $15 … are we surprised?), you can still shop for other items on the platform and get an extra discount using THECUT20. See some of our favorite items below.
People aren’t too happy. The sale went live in other regions earlier today, and the site crashed. “Not Vestiaire collective crashing when I’m tryna win one of these bagssssss,” fashion writer Louis Pisano said on X. Another user on X tweeted, “Whoever got the balenciaga city bag for 15 dollars of that vestiaire thing. I’m in ur walls.” Hopefully the U.S. site doesn’t crash, but the sale is a hot commodity, and there are likely hundreds of other people trying to check out with the exact same items. Let the fashion games begin.
