ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Binghamton golf team completed the first two rounds of Navy’s invitational, called, “The Goat,” Saturday at Naval Academy Golf Club.
Both Brandon Conner and Sean Shen led the Bearcats by each shooting 154/12-over par throughout the first two rounds. Shen, who tied the second-lowest round in program history during the final day of the Howard/USF Intercollegiate at 65/5-under par on Sept. 10, followed that up with a 76/5-over par in the first round and 78/7-over par in the second. Conner bounced back from shooting 80/9-over par in the opening 18 holes with a score of 74/3-over par in the next round. Conner posted four birdies in Saturday’s final round. Shen also had four birdies combined between both rounds.
The final round begins Sunday at 8 a.m., with double tee times.
