Create the ball flight you desire.

A golfer can control ball flight by adjusting the hands at the set-up position.

The Vs formed by the index fingers and thumbs control the ball’s trajectory. If the Vs point to the chin at the address position, the ball will likely fade or slice, indicating a weak grip. If the Vs point to the extreme right (or extreme left for the left-handed golf), the ball will draw or hook, indicating a stronger grip.

Each golfer must experiment with hand position to create the desired ball flight. Adjusting hand position can immediately improve a golfer’s game.

A significant percentage of mid to high-handicap golfers utilize an improper grip.

Adjust your grip position to achieve the desired ball flight, and you will enjoy this great game called golf.
