The club, under new ownership, will see significant investment in its facilities, including upgraded greens, event space, and leisure activities.
The new owners have already started on both interior and exterior renovations, with a long-term investment plan in place.
A new greenkeeper has been hired to oversee the maintenance of the 18-hole course, including its USPGA-specification greens and tees.
Jonathan Greaves, club director at Lexden Wood Golf, said: “We have hit the ground running and have already upgraded the range, bought a new ball picker, installed improved lighting, and taken delivery of new balls, mats, and targets.”
The owners plan to restore Lexden Wood as a top golf destination while also welcoming visitors for family and leisure activities.
The plans feature a renovated dinosaur-themed crazy golf course, set to open for the February half-term, along with a new fitness studio scheduled for completion by May 2025.
Mr Greaves added: “If you haven’t visited for a while, please come and see us.
“The feedback from members and visitors has been really positive and we look forward to shaping a bright future for the club and the area.”
