ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland University is set to host its annual Military Appreciation Day Nov. 21 during the Golden Grizzlies basketball doubleheader inside the OU Credit Union O’rena.
Oakland invites all veterans and active service members to the OU Credit Union O’rena for a special day of recognition and honor during both the women’s and men’s basketball games. Join Oakland as the Golden Grizzlies women’s basketball team is set to take on St. Thomas at 4:00 p.m., followed by the men’s squad who will face Eastern Michigan, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m.
All veterans and active service members are welcome to attend with free admission. In addition, you’ll be invited into the VIP Suite for complimentary food and will receive an exclusive Oakland-branded bucket hat as a token of appreciation. Walk-ups are allowed and encouraged on the day of the game.
