Gogebic Community College to dedicate basketball court in honor of Dennis Mackey
IRONWOOD, Mich. (WLUC) – The Gogebic Community College basketball court will be dedicated in honor of longtime GCC coach and administrator Dennis Mackey, the college announced Thursday.
Mackey has accumulated 242 wins with the Samsons men’s basketball program, and he totaled 256 wins in 19 seasons with the women’s program.
The dedication ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 26 in between the women’s and men’s basketball games against Bay College.
The women’s game begins at 5 p.m. local time.
