DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – As golf continues to become an activity many enjoy, another spot is opening in the Quad Cities area.
X GOLF Quad Cities will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate its grand opening at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Located at 2574 Middle Road in Bettendorf, IA, X GOLF Quad Cities is the newest home of indoor golf.
With eight simulators with private space for parties and entertaining. They offer a full bar and food menu.
X-Golf’s state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators offers players unparalleled accuracy and realism through a combination of camera systems, infrared lasers, impact sensors, and advanced gaming software.
“Golfers are looking for more access and availability to play golf even when the weather is not suitable to play outside, which is kind of the evolution of X-Golf, said Owner and General Manager of X-Golf Quad Cuties Chet Hendrickson.
Hendrickson says the technology aspect of it all is just one component that sets them apart from other competitors.
”Our simulators are different than others in that they are larger in size. They are 18 feet wide, so it feels really spacious, a huge screen, and then the technology is really what sets us apart. The graphics are obviously the best in the industry and then there’s the automatic tee system where golfers never have to touch their golf ball,” Hendrickson said.
X-GOLF QC will host leagues, date nights, tournaments, and fundraisers in a 7800-square-foot space.
When asked what kind of atmosphere she hopes X-Golf will bring to the Quad Cities community, Deanna Jensen-Valliere, Manager of Member Engagement with the Quad Cities Chamber, says X-Golf brings an activity the people love year-round right to the indoors for an unforgettable experience.
“A place like X-Golf just helps elevate the experience for the Quad Cities. It is all about building and growing our economy,” Jensen-Valliere said.
