Georgia women’s basketball (3-1) and Georgia Tech have a deep history.
The Lady Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets have played each other dating back to the 1974-75 season. Georgia won every year until 2002-03, when Georgia Tech finally found some footing. Georgia Tech has taken over the all-time series in the last five years, winning games in 2018, 2019, 2021 and the most recent in 2023.
The Lady Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets are set to tip off at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta at 2 p.m.
After losing to Georgia State — which Georgia Tech beat earlier this season — on Thursday, things are going to be tough for the Lady Bulldogs at their bigger in-state rival. Georgia Tech is undefeated.
