Georgia football is losing one of its most experienced offensive playmakers.
Junior running back Trevor Etienne announced Tuesday night via Instagram that he’s declaring for the NFL Draft. His brother, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne, has spent four seasons in the NFL.
The Florida transfer played one season at Georgia, but was limited to 10 games while battling a rib injury.
The Jennings, La., native rushed for 609 yards and a team-high nine touchdowns, finishing behind freshman Nate Frazier in rushing yards.
The 5-foot-9, 205-pound Etienne was fourth on the team with 32 catches for 194 yards.
Etienne rushed for 2,081 yards in three college seasons but the Bulldogs struggled to run the ball this season even with his addition to the backfield. His Georgia season started with a one-game suspension for a March 24 DUI arrest.
Besides Frazier, the Bulldogs return running back Cash Jones, Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson. Both Robinsons have battled injuries.
Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips will enter their sophomore seasons and the Bulldogs signed one running back in the 2025 class in December in three-star running back Bo Walker.
