Doha, August 14 (QNA) – The Gulf Under-15 Basketball Championship kicks off on Thursday and will continue until August 19 at Qatar University Hall, with the participation of (6) teams.
The Saudi national team will meet on Thursday Emirati team, while the Bahraini national team will face the Omani team.
The Qatari national team will start their matches on Friday, by facing the Omani team, and on the same day, the Kuwaiti national team will play Emirati team.
The Qatar Basketball Federation has completed all preparations to host the Gulf Championship. The tournament’s organizing committee announced, in a statement, the tournament’s matches program, as the participating teams were divided into two groups, the first of which includes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the Emirates, while the second group includes the teams of Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.
For its part, the Qatari national team’s technical staff completed preparations for the tournament and announced the list of players: Muhanna Khalid, Ibrahim Al-Mufti, Jassim Al-Qahtani, Hamad Al-Langawi, Abdulaziz Al-Qahtani, Majed Al-Mansour, Mohammed Al-Badi, Ahmed Yassin, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Mishaal Al-Mughni, Sultan Abdullah, Mohammed Al-Khuzaei, Azzam Yakan, and Saud Al Mughaiseeb.
