The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Orlando Magic on Friday to begin a 3-game road trip looking to get on track following a 2-9 start to the season. The matchup with the Magic will also be an NBA Cup game which offers Philadelphia a chance to move up in the Group A standings.
As far as the injury report is concerned, the Sixers will have Joel Embiid and Paul George return to the floor after they missed Wednesday’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers due to it being the second night of a back-to-back.
Andre Drummond also missed the contest with the Cavs due to an illness. He’s listed as questionable against the Magic.
Tyrese Maxey will remain out due to a right hamstring strain. He hasn’t played since Nov. 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers and is set to miss his fifth consecutive game.
The Magic will still be without star forward Paolo Banchero so the Sixers will have a chance to get this one done on Friday. It will take a lot of efforts from everybody to replace what Maxey brings to the table.
Tip off from the KIA Center in Orlando is set for 7 p.m. EST on Friday.
