Trained by Todd Pletcher, Locked return in October after a nearly yearlong layoff and won an optional-claiming allowance, followed by a 1 1/2-length victory in the Cigar Mile (G2). In the Pegasus World Cup, he rallied to catch Skippylongstocking for second place, 6 1/4 lengths behind White Abarrio.
