Locked fired a bullet Friday morning in his second work since placing second in the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup Invitational.

The 4-year-old Gun Runner colt breezed five furlongs at Palm Beach Downs in 1:00.48, fastest of six at the distance.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, Locked return in October after a nearly yearlong layoff and won an optional-claiming allowance, followed by a 1 1/2-length victory in the Cigar Mile (G2). In the Pegasus World Cup, he rallied to catch Skippylongstocking for second place, 6 1/4 lengths behind White Abarrio.
