Freya Kemp and Maia Bouchier could make their England Test debuts after being included in the squad for England’s upcoming tour of South Africa.
The tour finishes with one Test after a three-match T20 series and three one-day internationals, with all three squads skippered by Heather Knight.
Kemp and Bouchier have also been included in the squads for the T20s and ODIs, while fast bowler Lauren Filer will also take part in the entire tour.
There is one major omission from the Test side and that is Alice Capsey, who has also been left out of the T20 squad after failing to score more than 20 in any of her innings at this year’s T20 World Cup.
However, Capsey does have a place for the ODI series.
Paige Scholfield, who made her England debut against Ireland in September, has been included in the T20 squad.
All-rounder Danielle Gibson will miss out on the trip after having knee surgery due to an injury sustained during the T20 World Cup.
