The first ATP Tour Masters 1000 event of the season is just around the corner and the players are aiming to make a big impression during the North American hard court swing.
The field has changed as some players are no longer able to participate in the tournament known as the ‘fifth Grand Slam’ to many fans.
One of those who will be in the draw has been one of the standout players of 2025 so far, and will be set for his main draw Masters 1000 debut.
Ahead of the Indian Wells Masters, four players have been confirmed to no longer be participating.
One of those is America’s Reilly Opelka, who will miss out on the chance to play on home soil, and Yoshihito Nishioka will now also be absent.

He has already secured victories over Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev in 2025 and Tien will be looking to do the same at Indian Wells.
