The college football season has been over for a while, and for the Kentucky Wildcats, even longer. For some of the Wildcats stars, it’s now NFL Draft season. Specifically, the NFL Combine is just around the corner. This year’s event will feature four members of the 2024 Kentucky team.
Defensive lineman Deone Walker has been on the NFL’s radar since a breakout season in 2023. His numbers were down a bit this year, but he still has a tremendous combination of size and quickness. There will be plenty of interest at the Combine.
Maxwell Hairston had a great week at the Senior Bowl, and has risen up many analysts’ draft boards. If he shows off at the Combine as well, he could sneak into the first round of the draft.
Jamon Dumas-Johnson came to Kentucky from the Georgia Bulldogs last year. He played very well in his one season in Lexington, and could potentially work himself into a mid-round pick.
The fourth invite went to offensive lineman Eli Cox, who played center for the Cats. He is an experienced starter who will try to use the Combine to make a name for himself.
Good luck to all four participants in the 2025 NFL Combine.
