NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Dallas Cowboys are falling into irrelevancy, American Weston McKennie continues his great run at Juventus, and some pizza rankings talk.

FOOTBALL

What are you doing Cowboys? Seriously, is the Jones family checked out on the NFL.

Yes, they won three Super Bowls, BUT that was in the 1990′s. The last one coming 30 years ago, while I was still in high school. Yeah, I’m getting up in age and so is Jerry Jones.

I understand he has three rings and he’s in the Hall of Fame, but does Jones even care about winning anymore?

He hired Brian Schottenheimer as their head coach. No one in the league was even thinking of Schottenheimer, but the ‘Boys were.

They could’ve had a shot at Kellen Moore, their former OC, but nope they couldn’t wait to pull the trigger on Schottenheimer.

Cowboys legend Michael Irvin invoked God to TMZ as the only way Dallas has success in the future, and not their head coach.

With the Eagles and Commanders in the NFC East, divine intervention might be their only hope in “Big D.”

FÚTBOL

Have yourself a week Weston McKennie. The United States Men’s National Team player hit an absolute rocket for a goal against PSV in the Champions League. His squad, Juventus, would win the match over the club from the Netherlands, 2-1.

On Sunday, his Italian club beat first place in Serie A, Inter Milan, 1-0. The Washington native played 90 minutes in the contest, and was a big factor in the victory.

McKennie is many things on the field, consistency is one of them. For club or country, McKennie always delivers. Next summer in the World Cup for team U.S.A., I expect the world to see much more of McKennie’s brilliance.

FOOD

I’ve consistently posted in this spot my favorite pizza joints the last few years. No particular order it’s Gio’s, Forbidden Pizza, St. Pizza, Pizza Delicious, Zee’s, and Il Supremo.

Pizza enthusiast, Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports, was in New Orleans for the Super Bowl and dropped scores on some of the above spots. Guess what, he was spot-on to what I’ve been saying.

Here’s the top pizza joints in his rankings. He’s come twice to the city in the last few years.

Now, Mid City Pizza is under new ownership since his review years back.

I’ve had pizza in New Orleans at almost all the pertinent joints. Above is the crew that would consist of my top-5, but it’s always changing.
