BEFORE YOU GO
– Travel early in the day (and give yourself 2 hours for connections, with delays, mechanical issues, bad weather, etc)
– Download your airlines app (information on gate, connections, baggage, as well as access to entertainment, free messaging, wifi, etc)
PACKING AND PREP
– Use packing cubes, roll clothes instead of folding
– Use a carry-on if possible (for all valuables: jewelry, medication, electronics)
DAY OF TRAVEL
– Plan to arrive early
– Wear compression socks (circulation)
– Bring your own headset + neck pillow
– Dress in layers
– Snacks and refillable water bottle jetlag tips (rest on flight/change time on watch/daylight/protein/water)
AT DESTINATION
