HOPKINSVILLE, KY. (WSMV) – Christian County Public Schools is speaking out after a fight during a Friday basketball game in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
On Dec. 13, 2024, Christian County Public Schools reported a fight on Thursday, Dec. 12.
The fight happened during a game at Hopkinsville High School between players from the boys’ basketball team at Christian County High School and players from the Paducah Tilghman High School.
Christian County Public Schools said they’ve been in contact with the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) to determine appropriate disciplinary actions.
“We recognize such behaviors are not aligned to our core values as a school and district,” Christian County Public Schools said. “This type of behavior will not be tolerated, and we will cooperate fully with the KHSAA and the disciplinary actions they deem necessary.”
