Qatar Airways has launched what it calls the ‘next generation’ of its business class Qsuite product at the Farnborough International Airshow currently underway.
The new suites are manufactured by Adient Aerospace and feature a number of differences from the existing offering, notably the introduction of ‘Companion’ and ‘Quad’ suites.
The Companion suites feature a face to face window seating configuration in order that two people can dine (or work) together after hinging a divider out of the way. Meanwhile, the Quad suite allows a whole team (or a family) to sit in the same group.
Apart from the configuration changes, the suites all feature a new Panasonic Astrovia 4K OLED screen as well as a range of ambient mood lighting that passengers can adjust to their liking.
Marketed as having ‘more space than ever’, the new seat features a 23″ width, 100″ pitch. The bed length is 80″.
Qatar Airways’ Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said at the launch: “I’m here to tell you that part of our ‘superpower’ as Qatar Airways is constantly redefining luxury travel for our passengers and clients”
