Death, taxes and (at least) one Kyren Williams touchdown per game — the only certainties in life. As the wise Scott Pianowski said last week, he probably should start getting his mail in the end zone; he’s scored in each of his last 10 games dating back to last season.
In Week 8, Williams’ lone score on the day came in the receiving game, having reeled in five of his seven targets from Stafford for 19 yards and a score. Those five receptions tied for the second-highest total in a single game in Williams’ career, which was of particular delight to fantasy managers in full-PPR scoring leagues, more than making up for the inefficiency, averaging just 3.8 yards per reception. Regardless, it’s encouraging to see his usage as a receiver, especially given the return of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua from injury this past week.
