Which NBA stars do we expect to see in the 2028 Olympics?
LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant led Team USA to another gold at the Paris Olympics, and it’s a good thing because the team will look VERY different in 2028. But which stars can we expect to see back?
2K Sports will be releasing the latest edition of their hit NBA simulation game less than a month from now. In anticipation of the release of 2K25, 2K Sports will be revealing some of the ratings attached to the NBA’s biggest stars.
The first of these reveals came today, with 3-point shooting, and the list wasn’t without its controversy.
Steph Curry at No. 1 is no surprise, but No. 2 was shocking to a lot of NBA fans.
According to these ratings, Grayson Allen is the second-best three-point shooter in the league. The same Grayson Allen that is a year removed from shooting under 40% from three.
In all fairness, Allen did lead the league in three-point percentage among qualified shooters last season (46.1%). However, has Allen really established himself as one of the best long-range shooters in the league? Well, based on fans’ reactions to these ratings, the answer seems to be a resounding “No.”

As you can tell, there have been a lot of fans questioning why Allen was listed among players like Curry, Durant, and Thompson. However, as this tweet has remained up, the narrative has started to shift in favor of Allen, with some fans going as far as to call anyone who doubts Allen’s placement “casuals.”
The game is scheduled for release on September 6, 2024. The NBA season will start on October 22.
