The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Ashland is offering a variety of activities in February.
The center’s programming and recreation teams have collaborated with local instructors and coaches to provide a diverse range of classes and events, according to a press release.
The center is hosting Under the Sea Father-Daughter Dance 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, featuring special guests Ariel and Rapunzel. Tickets are $35 for Kroc Center members and $40 for nonmembers, with additional costs for extra daughters.
Family Fun Night will take place 5-7 p.m. the first Friday of each month Feb. 7-April 4. The event activities such as laser tag, bounce houses, roller skating and seasonal crafts. The cost is $5 per nonmember, while Kroc Center members can attend for free.
Middle School Night, scheduled for 5-7 p.m. the second Friday of each month through April, is a kids-only drop-off event for students in grades five-eight. The event includes board games, laser tag, dodgeball, roller skating and video games. The cost is $5 per nonmember, with free entry for members.
Family Roller Skating is set for 5-7 p.m. the third Friday of each month. Participants can tak,e their own skates or borrow from the center. The cost is $5 per nonmember, while members can attend for free.
Lu & Climbing Wall Night will take place 6-8 p.m. the fourth Friday in February, March and April. The cost is $5 for nonmembers and free for members.
The center also offers fitness classes, including Salsa Social on Mondays and Core Cardio Kickboxing on Tuesdays. Additionally, the Lu Interactive Playground and Climbing Wall are open for play on Mondays and Wednesdays, respectively.
The center is hosting Open Pickleball Night on Thursdays, Feb. 6 -April 10. Participants must take their own ball and paddles.
