PHILADELPHIA — After a flurry of moves in the early afternoon, the Falcons news continued as kickoff loomed for Monday Night Football.
At 4 p.m. ET, Atlanta placed inside linebacker Nate Landman on injured reserve and simultaneously signed defensive back Kevin King to the active roster. They also elevated safety Dane Cruikshank from the practice squad.
With 90 minutes until kickoff against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Falcons released their inactives list.
For the second week in a row, the Falcons decided to keep a handful of their rookie class inactive as healthy scratches. This included running back Jase McClellan and defensive linemen Ruke Orhorhoro and Brandon Dorlus. The Falcons did decide to keep rookie wide receiver Casey Washington active for Monday’s game, which differed from his Week 1 inactive status.
This continues to speak to the overall health of the roster and the veteran presence the Falcons have in 2024.
