FAIRFAX, Va. (7News) — Fairfax County launched a new website on Tuesday afternoon aimed at helping federal workers who have recently lost their jobs due to Trump administration cuts to the federal government.
The website highlights ways to get help finding a new job, launching a business, managing your mental health, and getting financial help, among other things. It can be found here.

For help getting a new job, the website recommends contacting the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority.
Economic Development Authority CEO Victor Hoskins says there are more than 90,000 job openings in Northern Virginia, and many of these employers are looking for the skills that government workers possess.
“Especially if you have any kind of tech talent,” Hoskins said. “We are the richest tech talent with job availability in the country right now.”
Those jobs are listed under “Find a Job” on their website. The website also offers additional resources and help for veterans seeking jobs.
