The Paris Masters is here for the final ATP Masters 1,000 event of 2024, so The Tennis Gazette looks at everything you need to know from the prize money to how to watch.
Ever since 1969, the Paris Masters has been one of the flagship tournaments in the calendar. It became one of the nine events which make up the ATP Masters from its inception back in 1990 as Boris Becker retired to see Stefan Edberg win the Paris Masters men’s singles title.
The Paris Masters features just the top players on the ATP Tour and has seen Novak Djokovic enjoy more success than anyone else with seven singles titles yet. The Serbian also boasts the records for the most consecutive titles with three and the most consecutive finals made.
Djokovic could have even eclipsed his own record set from 2013 to 2015 by making the final of the 2024 Paris Masters, having also reached the final match in 2021, 2022 and 2023. But history is not on the cards this season after Djokovic withdrew from the 2024 Paris Masters.
The ATP world No4’s decision to skip the last event of the regular men’s tennis season could now see No1 Jannik Sinner or No2 Carlos Alcaraz fight for their first Paris Masters titles. No3 Alexander Zverev will also look to avenge losing in the 2020 final in his sole final made so far.
A place in the ATP Finals is also on the line for many players entering the Paris Masters, with only Sinner, Alcaraz, Zverev and No5 Daniil Medvedev guaranteed their places. Taylor Fritz is the next in line to secure a place in the ATP Finals with Tommy Paul also still in contention.
So, with that in mind, The Tennis Gazette covers everything that you need to know ahead of the 2024 Paris Masters, from the prize money to how to watch the tournament in the USA…
The 2024 Paris Masters takes place between Monday, October 28 and Sunday, November 3. Play on the first four days will begin at 11:00 CEST for the day session and not before 19:00 CEST for the evening session moving to 14:00 CEST and 19:00 CEST on Friday, November 1.

The ATP Tour is yet to confirm when it will hold the draw for the 2024 Paris Masters.
Djokovic withdrawing from the 2024 Paris Masters ensures there will not be a repeat winner after the Serbian beat Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-3 in the final in 2023. He beat Andrey Rublev 5-7, 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 in the semi-final and Holger Rune 7-5, 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 in the quarter-final.
The 2024 Paris Masters will take place at the Palais Omnisports, which is currently called the Accor Arena due to sponsorship. It is an indoor hard-court arena on the Boulevard de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement of Paris and is just across the road from the Bercy metro station.
It is even the last Paris Masters to take place at the Accor Arena with the ATP Masters 1,000 tournament moving to La Defense Arena in 2025. The ATP Tour justified the move by stating that it was taken ‘to ensure the best possible conditions’ for the players and any spectators.
The ATP Tour has guaranteed a total financial commitment of €6,946,835 ($7,489,418) for the 2024 Paris Masters, which also includes a total prize pool of €5,950,575 ($6,415,583).
