BELVIDERE, Ill. (WIFR) – One of the best athletes to ever pass through Belvidere High School has found her college home.
Belvidere senior Emma Pierson signed her commitment to play both golf and basketball at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
Pierson has plenty of accomplishments to her name throughout her high school career. She’s made it to State in both Golf and Track — all while passing the school’s all-time scoring record in girls basketball before completing her junior season.
Pierson still has one more full season of basketball with Belvidere before heading up north to become a two-sport college athlete.
