PLAYER OF THE YEAR PERSPECTIVE: It was an honor to go play in the state meet, that was my goal for the season and I was really happy that I was able to go and compete. It was awesome to get to go back to state my senior year after going to state with the HC golf team my sophomore year. Coach Libby was absolutely amazing and super helpful both during the regular season and especially at state, I did not play as well as I would have liked to but Libby was super encouraging and helped me to realize that I should be proud I made it to state and that my finish there was not worth stressing about. It would have been a lot of fun to have gone to state with the whole HC team because we grew really close during the season, but the girls I played with at state were very encouraging and friendly and that was a lot of fun.” – Elizabeth VanDusseldorp
