Electrolit bringing 0 million facility to Waco, creating 200 jobs

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Electrolit, a sports drink brand, announced they are planning to bring a $400 million manufacturing facility in Waco, Texas.

The project is a built-to-suit facility set to open in early 2026.

The company says in partnership with Keurig Dr Pepper Inc., they are responding to the rapidly growing demand for Electrolit across North America.

Electrolit has acquired land in the heart of Waco’s largest industrial park, Texas Central Park.

The company says its decision to build its facility in Waco is due to the regional economic development between the City of Waco, McLennan County, the Waco Industrial Foundation and the Greater Waco Chamber.

“Attracting a business like Electrolit meets the economic development objectives of our City by bringing in a quality business, a great management team, a significant financial commitment, and good jobs that help provide financial security to our Waco residents,” said City of Waco Mayor Jim Holmes. “Electrolit also has a track record of support and involvement in the local community, and we look forward to this business being a part of all the great things going on in Waco.”

This facility is set to employ over 200 skilled professionals and technicians.

Electrolit says the site will incorporate non-virgin and recycled packaging materials to comply with the state’s plastic usage regulations.
