ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The weekly indoor farmers market returns Nov. 6, bringing the vendors inside for the season.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Wednesday Nov. 6. to Dec. 11, excluding Nov. 27, at the Edgebrook Shopping Center next to Akerman Shoes.
Shoppers will see fresh produce, baked goods, honey, jams, apples, coffee and more.
The vendors available at the farmers market include:
“I think farmers markets are very important and they serve a lot of purposes in our community,” Ken Wundrow, Owner of Wunberg Produce, says. “You’re supporting your neighbors and people in your community that are making a living from doing this.”
