The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office took students from Douglas County schools shopping for Christmas gifts on Monday.
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. – Christmas will be a little brighter for some Douglas County students this year, thanks to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies joined students from local schools yesterday for their annual “Shop with a Cop” event at Walmart, ensuring special gifts will be under their trees this holiday season.
The program isn’t just about presents—it’s also an opportunity to build meaningful connections between law enforcement and the community’s youth. As deputies walked the aisles, they shared smiles, conversations, and the joy of selecting the perfect gifts alongside the kids.
The holiday spirit doesn’t stop there. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will team up with the Kiwanis Club tomorrow for another round of “Shop with a Cop.”
