CLEVELAND, Ohio — As we approach the New Year’s holiday, restaurants and beyond have sights set on what they want to bring to the Greater Cleveland culinary scene in 2025.
In the latest episode of “DineDrinkCLE: The Podcast,” hosts Josh Duke and Alex Darus are joined by Marc Bona to talk about a new kind of sports bar coming to town. The W Sports Bar will soon be an inclusive hub for viewing a wide variety of sporting events, from WNBA games to hometown teams.
Then, Paris Wolfe stops by the show to give an update on the West Side Market. The holiday season is always a busy time for the historic market in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood. Paris talks about the festive decorations and celebrations planned throughout the end of the year. She also advises folks headed to the market to celebrate the season about the new parking situation that has confused some customers.
Finally, Alex talks about the exciting plans at Abundance Culinary in Cleveland Heights next year. Chef Liu Fang is coming off of a big year after being recognized by Plate Magazine as one of their Chefs to Watch in 2024. Now that Rising Star Coffee Roasters is moving out of the diner car it previously shared with Abundance, the modern Chinese restaurant will expand its seating and get a facelift in the new year.
