WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Dickinson men’s golf team attempted to improve on their 13th-place standing after day one of the Northeast Elite tournament when they returned to Williamsport Country Club on a rainy and damp Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately for the Red and White they would end the day five spots back in 18th out of the 20 team field.
For the second day in a row it was Collin McMahon-Shea who was the low man for the Devils on the 6516-yard, par 71 course firing a 69 to end the event in a tie for sixth. Luke Vance posted a 77, while William Griffith was two shots back at 79. The duo of Ryan Wheeler and Jackson Guy carded an 80 and 82 respectively to round out the DC roster.
Hamilton College’s Ramon Aroca Gonzalez took home the individual title by finishing seven-under with a two-day total of 135 (67-68). The team total went to Trinity (Conn.) thanks to a combined three-under 565, followed by Rochester (573), RPI (579), Franklin & Marshall and York (Pa.) (581), PSU-Altoona (582), Hamilton (587), Westminster (588), St. John Fisher (589), Allegheny and McDaniel (591), SUNY Delhi (594), Albright (596), Swarthmore (598), Hartford, Mount Aloysius and Scranton (603), Dickinson (605), Stevens (617) and Penn College (631).

Dickinson will go right back at it tomorrow morning at 10am when they head to Piney Branch Golf Club in Upperco, Maryland for the Stevenson University Fall Invitational.
