New City Edition jerseys are always one of the most anticipated drops during each NBA season, and the Dallas Mavericks 2024-25 version might have just leaked.
Rumors are circulating around the internet that this is what the jerseys will look like this upcoming season. If true, they are similar to last year’s design with a different color scheme. Dallas rocked a black jersey with “MAVS” across the chest. The players’ numbers were Mavericks blue, and the team name was gray.
If accurate, the new rendition of the jersey that represents the city of Dallas will be white with a blue team name and gray numbers. This is speculation, and nothing has been confirmed by the team or the NBA.
Last year, the jerseys were dubbed “Trinity River Blues” and put together by Grammy winner Leon Bridges, incorporating the blues heritage of North Texas.
“From the heart of Texas Blues, to the soulful sounds of Grammy Award-winning Recording Artist and Fort Worth Native, Leon Bridges. We Present to you, Trinity River Blues,” wrote the Mavericks on their X account when the uniforms were released.
No matter what the team decides to do, it is sure to be a hit amongst the fans. Dallas enters the season as one of the teams to beat as the reigning Western Conference champions. There is no telling how good the team can be this upcoming season in year three of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving sharing a backcourt.
If the rumors are true, it will give fans a nice alternative to last year’s jerseys that will go perfectly with the rest of their gameday wardrobe.
