In response to the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, Crunch Fitness has opened select locations across Florida to offer essential services to those affected by the storm.
Residents facing power outages, and a lack of basic utilities, can visit participating Crunch Fitness centers for access to showers, charging stations and a supportive space to recover.
“We understand the immense impact Hurricane Milton has had on our communities, and we want to ensure everyone has a safe space to refresh and regroup,” said Tony Scrimale, chief executive officer of CR Fitness Holdings, the largest Crunch franchisee in the United States. “Our facilities are not just about fitness — they’re about helping people live better lives, especially in times of need.”
Available Services:
Showers: Free and open to the public during business hours.
Device Charging: Residents can charge phones, laptops and other essential electronics.
BBQ and Relief Efforts: Staff will be on-site to serve food and bottled water.
Affected residents do not need to be Crunch members to access these amenities.
Crunch Fitness currently manages 70 gyms across multiple states including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and Tennessee. The company is continuing to monitor the situation and will open additional locations as needed.
