According to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection online gaming revenue took another jump in the state in August.
Total gross gaming revenue for the month was $37.9 million, up from $35.6 million in July.
The Connecticut online casino gaming and sports betting market fully launched in October 2021. There are just two online casinos – DraftKings and partner Foxwoods, and Mohegan Sun, operated by FanDuel.
Players can tap into a wide variety of slots, table games and live dealer games in the state.
DraftKings casino saw the biggest increase – $20,632,490 in total gross online casino gaming revenue in August, up from $19,159,642 in July. Mohegan Sun was at $17,110,672 in August, a slight bump from $16,283,514 in July.
DraftKings offers players over 300 casino games, including exclusive games likes DraftKings Rocket, DraftKings NHL Slapshot, DraftKings Bingo Blackjack, and Assassin Moon.
Eighteen per cent from online casino revenue goes back to the state – $3,713,848 million in the case of DraftKings, $3,079,921 million in the case of FanDuel, for August.
