Can the Rams make a surge?
The Colorado State men’s basketball team opened Mountain West play last week with a significant upset on the road to beat Nevada.
CSU comes back home Saturday for the first MW game of the season at Moby Arena as the Rams face New Mexico. The Lobos are expected to be a top contender for the league title.
After this, CSU has a set of seemingly winnable games (at San Jose State, vs Fresno State, vs UNLV), meaning a win over New Mexico could give the Rams a chance to make an early statement of intent.
