On Saturday, class of 2026 wide receiver and current Ohio State Buckeyes commit Chris Henry Jr. announced an offer from the Colorado Buffaloes.
Henry is a five-star prospect and the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder is also the No. 5 overall prospect in his class.
Henry, who spent this past season at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, committed to the Buckeyes in July but hasn’t closed his recruitment by any means. The Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans have both hosted the five-star on recent visits.
Head coach Deion Sanders’ latest recruiting target is the son of late Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry, who tragically passed away in 2009.
Colorado is one of three Big 12 teams that have yet to land a 2026 commitment.
