21. Michigan Wolverines (4-2) — The reigning national champion Michigan lost its rematch with Washington Saturday as the Huskies outscored the Wolverines 13-0 in the fourth quarter.

22. Boise State Broncos (4-1) — Ashton Jeanty is the Heisman Trophy favorite with another unbelievable performance Saturday, rushing for 186 yards and three touchdowns in a 62-30 win against Utah State.

23. Illinois Fighting Illini (4-1) — Illinois got a bye to learn from its Week 5 loss at Penn State. The Fighting Illini return to action against Purdue in Week 7.

24. Pittsburgh Panthers (5-0) — Pittsburgh continued its impressive unbeaten start to the season with a 34-24 win at North Carolina. It is the first 5-0 start for the Panthers since 1991.

25. SMU Mustangs — (5-1) — Since SMU made the change to Kevin Jennings at quarterback, the Mustangs have been clicking offensively. Jennings threw for 281 yards and rushed for 113 with a touchdown in a 34-27 upset win at Louisville.
