11. Michigan Wolverines (13-4 overall; +25.18 KenPom rating) — Michigan suffered its first Big Ten loss of the season in heart-breaking fashion Thursday with a buzzer-beater by Minnesota. The Wolverines hosted Northwestern Sunday.

12. Texas Tech Red Raiders (13-4 overall; +24.73 KenPom rating) — Texas Tech has won four of its last five with the lone loss coming by one point to Iowa State in overtime last Saturday.

13. Gonzaga Bulldogs (14-6 overall; +24.30 KenPom rating) — Gonzaga lost consecutive games — at Oregon State and Santa Clara — for the second time this season. The Bulldogs already have two West Coast Conference losses and have not dropped more than three in a season since 1997-98.

14. Michigan State Spartans (15-2 overall; +24.20 KenPom rating) — Michigan State put its 10-game win streak on the line against Illinois Sunday. The Spartans have not lost since Nov. 26.

15. Marquette Golden Eagles (15-3 overall; +24.06 KenPom rating) — Marquette suffered its first Big East defeat of the season Saturday with a low-scoring 59-57 loss to Xavier. 

16. Arizona Wildcats (11-6 overall; +23.75 KenPom rating) — Arizona had its seven-game win streak snapped Saturday at Texas Tech. It is also the first Big 12 loss for the conference newcomer. 

17. Ole Miss Rebels (15-3 overall; +23.71 KenPom rating) — Ole Miss stunned Alabama on the road Tuesday, but followed that up with an overtime loss to rival Mississippi State Saturday.

18. St. John’s Red Storm (16-3 overall; +23.67 KenPom rating) — St. John’s is rolling with victories in 11 of its last 12 games. The only loss during that stretch for the Red Storm came at Creighton, 57-56, back on New Year’s Eve.
