Portage, MI-The Cleveland State women’s golf team returns to the course this week for the Bronco Fall Classic hosted by Western Michigan University. The event will take place at Moors Golf Club in Portage, Michigan starting on Monday morning.
The Vikings are at the halfway point of the Fall 2024 schedule having played two events previously and having two events to go. Cleveland State last played at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational hosted by Youngstown State where the Vikings finished in sixth place as a team.
The tournament field features 11 total teams with the Vikings set to compete alongside fellow Horizon League foes IU Indianapolis and Northern Kentucky, along with Eastern Illinois, Valparaiso and host Western Michigan among others.
Kaitlin Kormuth, Mandie Ruminski, Brynna Mardis, Abby Blackburn and Kaylin Kline will make up the lineup for the Vikings, with Chloe Holton playing as an individual. Cleveland State begins the day on holes 14-18 with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
The tournament is scheduled for 54 holes with two rounds scheduled for Monday and the final round set for Tuesday morning. Live scoring will be available on Scoreboard Live throughout the event.
