CLEMSON — Clemson football has an official start time for its final regular-season game.
The ACC announced Monday that the No. 16 Tigers (8-2, 7-1 ACC) will face in-state rival No. 19 South Carolina (7-3, 5-3 SEC) at noon ET on Nov. 30 at Memorial Stadium and will air nationally on ESPN.
This will be the 121st installment of the Palmetto Bowl with Clemson leading the all-time series 73-43-4. This rivalry began in 1896 with South Carolina winning the first game 12-6. The Tigers defeated the Gamecocks 16-7 last year at Williams-Brice Stadium after South Carolina beat them 31-30 at Memorial Stadium in 2022.
The Tigers won their last two conference games to finish 7-1 in ACC play but need Miami to lose once or SMU to drop two games in the final two weeks to make the ACC championship. Clemson hosts FCS opponent, The Citadel, this Saturday before facing South Carolina, which could boost its CFP resume if it beats its rival.
South Carolina is one of the hottest teams in the country after it won its final four conference games, including three against ranked opponents. The Gamecocks host Wofford, an FCS school, before traveling to Memorial Stadium to face Clemson.
