Christmas Day Football Week 17: Chiefs at Steelers Open Thread
Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers will host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day. While I’m not a fan of a Wednesday game, it is what it is. The Chiefs need one win to close out homefield advantage and, frankly, that would bode well for the Denver Broncos playoff chances. So I guess we have our rooting cause for today.
Kickoff is set for Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Mile High time at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will air on Netflix.
My Prediction
According to FanDuel, the Chiefs are mere 2.5-point favorites on the road against the Steelers. To be honest, I think the play on the Chiefs is a bit overrated as they have been winning games all season by the seat of their pants. However, since we need them to win to secure some backups next week I’ll go with a Steelers win here. Why not…
