Packers wide receiver Christian Watson hurt his knee on Monday night and head coach Matt LaFleur said that the wideout would have tests done to discover the severity of the injuries on Tuesday.
LaFleur offered an update on Watson’s condition at his Tuesday press conference and it was a relatively positive one. LaFleur said that Watson suffered a knee bruise and that he may be able to play against the Vikings on Sunday.
While many teams will be off on Wednesday for Christmas, the Packers will have the players in the facility because they are on a short week after playing on Monday night. Their injury report will provide the next update on where things stand with Watson.
Watson has 29 catches for 620 yards and two touchdowns this season.
