KC Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles celebrate path to Super Bowl
The Chiefs are facing off against the Eagles at Super Bowl LIX. The teams faced off at the 2023 championship, with the Chiefs taking home the trophy.
The Kansas City Chiefs are in the Super Bowl for a third consecutive season, so naturally, fans will see plenty of familiar faces comprising the two-time reigning NFL champions.
The Chiefs continue to be led by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on offense despite some shuffling at the roster’s other skill positions. Meanwhile, the team’s defensive core of Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Trent McDuffie and George Karlaftis remains intact, which should give Steve Spagnuolo’s defense a chance to slow down Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Of course, there will also be some notable absences in this game. Rashee Rice won’t be in action because of an early-season knee injury that has sidelined him for the year while some other top players, like cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, are no longer with the team.
Who is on the Chiefs as Andy Reid’s squad looks to complete an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat? Here’s what to know about Kansas City’s roster for Super Bowl 59, including their depth chart, practice squad and more.
