Add another primetime game to the Chargers schedule.
The NFL announced Monday that the Bolts Week 11 matchup with the Bengals will now be played on Sunday Night Football.
Kickoff from SoFi Stadium is now at 5:20 p.m. (PT) on NBC.
The Week 11 matchup features an elite quarterback matchup and a battle of teams vying for postseason contention in the AFC.
Justin Herbert has been lights out of late as he’s averaged 285 passing yards per game over the Chargers past four games, three of which have been wins.
Herbert, the No. 6 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has thrown 10 touchdowns to just one interception this season.
The Bengals will counter with quarterback Joe Burrow, who was the No. 1 pick in the same draft class. Burrow has thrown for 20 touchdowns and four interceptions so far this season.
Entering Week 10, the Chargers sit at 5-3 and currently occupy the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh has turned the squad around in his first season at the helm as the Bolts have already matched last year’s win total.
Cincinnati will be looking to keep its postseason hopes alive in primetime.
The Bengals currently sit at 4-5 ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup in Baltimore. Cincinnati started out 1-4 but has won three of its past four games.
