The Surat leg of the Celebrity Cricket League 2025 is not over yet, with the Mumbai Heroes playing Punjab De Sher, but the results of the other matches have already put the top 4 teams in place. On March 1, defending champions Bengal Tigers, 2-time champions and last year’s runner up Karnataka Bulldozers, 2-time champions Chennai Rhinos and first-time semi-finalists Punjab De Sher will be in Mysuru. The playing order at the semi-finals in Mysuru will be decided after the outcome of the Mumbai Heroes vs Punjab De Sher match.
Punjab De Sher will play their first ever CCL semi-final on March 1
At the end of 13 matches, the Bengal Tigers, after winning all their group stage matches, were at the top of the points table, followed by the Karnataka Bulldozers, the Chennai Rhinos and then, Punjab De Sher. According to the rule book, the way it is now, the Tigers will play Punjab De Sher, while the Bulldozers meet the Rhinos on March 1. The Tigers had defeated the Shers during the Delhi leg, while the Bulldozers had beaten the Rhinos in Hyderabad.

However, the result of the Shers’ last match against the Heroes could push them up to third place, meaning that they could be playing the Bulldozers yet again within the span of a week. If that happens, the Tigers will play the Rhinos, in a repeat of the first match of the season in Bengaluru.
Will the Rhinos and Bulldozers meet in the semis again?
The final week of Celebrity Cricket League is on March 1 and 2 in Mysuru. This is the first time that the league is heading to the Heritage City. The matches will be telecast/streamed on Sony Sports Ten 3 and JioHotstar.
